Y360 Team
Our Director – Dana Mendoza

Dana brings years of innovative leadership and collaboration experience across nonprofit organizations, municipal government, public and private schools, universities, and summer camp settings. Exuberance, thoughtfulness, and big-picture thinking characterize her workstyle, and we are excited to welcome her energy and vision to Youth 360.
Dana is deeply passionate about cultivating meaningful experiences for youth outside of the classroom. She believes out-of-school educators have a unique opportunity to help young people learn more about themselves, their peers, and our community by providing supportive spaces to recognize and develop their individual talents. She is excited to bring her creativity and skills, along with her strengths in partnership development and project and event management, to the United Way of Mat-Su and Youth 360 to help expand their impact.
Having grown up in northern Colorado, Dana relocated to southern Arizona before making her way to Alaska in 2017 and eventually settling in the Mat-Su Valley. She studied Interior Architecture and Design before earning a B.A. in Adventure Education from Prescott College in 2010. Dana enjoys making life artful, writing, attending community events with her daughter, exploring nature, supporting local music and the arts, and considers herself a lifelong learner.
